Montana Congressional Candidate Shoots Down Drone in Video

Most political campaign videos all do and say the same thing. If you don’t believe me, just go and watch a few. The candidate usually bashes his/her opponent while telling you what s/he says s/he can and will do better if he or she gets elected to office. If you’ve seen one of these videos, you’ve seen hundreds of them; there just doesn’t seem to be any kind of variety whatsoever.

That’s not to say that they’re all the same, though. Surprisingly, one of the most interesting political videos I’ve ever seen comes out of the Big Sky state of Montana. Matt Rosendale, who is a Republican candidate currently running for Congress, decided to film a video that would leave viewers knowing his clear opinion on the current state of the Government.

Time For A Little Target Practice

In the video, Matt shows the viewer what he would look like from the eyes of a drone. He then aims a rifle and proceeds to shoot the drone out of the sky, leaving the viewer to understand that there’s no room for Government spying in his vision of America. Nothing says “Vote for me!” like a little good old-fashioned target practice. Something tells me a lot of people living in Montana might share his views.

What do you think? Is his a position you respect or do think Government spying via drones is something inevitable? Does it surprise anyone that this comes out of Montana? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
