Twitter May Soon Let You See Your Tweet Views

If you’ve used Twitter for any amount of time at all, there comes a point when you wonder if anyone is even looking at your tweets. This is especially true when you are just starting out and it seems like everyone (including their mother) is getting favorited and retweeted like crazy. And there you are wondering what you’re doing wrong. While Twitter easily lets you see how many people favorite and retweet your posts, you’ve never been able to see how many people actually click on your tweet and read it.

That may soon be changing in the future, though. It seems Twitter is in the process of testing out view counts on tweets. Will we see the day when this will be a standard option for all users?

I Wonder How Many Views My Tweet Had…

As someone who is fairly new to the Twitter world, I freely admit that I often wonder how many people even see my tweets among the world of everyone else’s. Part of me thinks it would be a good idea to see what kind of tweets get more views, and then the other part of me thinks I would just get irritated when it seems like no one’s looking at them. Since the folks at Twitter are keeping mum about this testing, users probably should’t get hopes too high just yet – it could all amount to nothing.

What do you think? Would you like to see how many views your tweets receive, or are you happy with the way Twitter currently operates? Let us hear your opinions regarding this story!
